Selwyn Wairewa Youth Trust is committed to creating a healthy and vibrant youth culture in Selwyn and Wairewa. We do this by supporting young people, developing leaders and creating safe spaces. 

Friends of SWYT If you share our passion for young people in Selwyn and Wairewa then we invite you to join us in our mission. Friends of the Trust provide support through prayer, making regular / one-off donations or volunteering at SWYT events / fundraising efforts. You can also sign up to our semi-regular newsletter to receive updates and information on upcoming events and prayer requests. 

Te Kohatu | Youth Space
530 Birchs Road, Lincoln

Situated on Birchs Rd, on the site of Lincoln Baptist Church, on the outskirts of the township, SWYT manages a youth building, Te Kohatu, which provides a space for youth groups and youth events in Lincoln. The Te Kohatu youth space is also available for hire for private events or functions.

As part of the national network that facilitates partnerships between local churches and local schools, SWYT has 2 youth workers providing presence-based youth work at Lincoln High School and 1 youth worker at Lincoln Primary School. 24-7 Youth Work has been running for over 13 years in Lincoln High School
